DevDroid has introduced the Droid Raw 12.7 ground combat drone, which combines the all-terrain Snail platform and a remotely controlled machine gun module. It can already be integrated into front-line logistics and combat missions.
This is reported in a press release by DevDroid. The new Droid Raw 12.7 model was created in cooperation with the manufacturers of the ground robotic platform NRK «Ravlyk». The main feature of the new product is the Wolly 12.7 module, designed for the M2 Browning machine gun. This is a powerful solution that allows you to transform a rear robot into a full-fledged combat device without significant design changes.
The platform has already been tested and demonstrated its effectiveness in field conditions. It is remotely controlled, which allows for reconnaissance and fire without risk to the operator’s life. The range of the attack is up to 1000 meters, and thanks to the electric motor, the drone operates almost silently.
Engineers emphasize that the main idea of the development is a rapid combat modification of an existing mobile platform without the need for complete re-equipment.
The company has been operating since 2023 and specializes in creating combat modules for remotely controlled machine guns. The Wolly 7.62 and Wolly 12.7 turrets are already in use on the battlefield on other platforms. The new Droid Raw 12.7 expands the range of robotic support vehicles that reduce the burden on infantry and provide striking power without direct human participation.
